The death of a pet is a deeply distressing and a sometimes traumatic event for pet owners. At this time it is important that the body of that beloved animal is dealt with in a way which makes its passing as acceptable as possible, which is important for a treasured member of the family.
Some think , when a pet is dead, it is dead , and what happens to the
body is not important.
Others wish to know HOW and WHERE their pet is cremated and then
returned to them (being sure it IS their pet) or, WHERE the ashes of
those pets communally cremated are put.
At PENWITH PET CREMATORIUM , ALL PETS , (if not buried here) are
cremated on our privately owned, family run, premises situated on our
small farm.
They are collected from the vets surgeries and when the cremation has
taken place ALL those ashes are interred in our beautiful memorial
gardens which are always open for visitors.
For those who wish their pets to be returned to them ,they will be
cremated, individually, and ashes placed in a casket with the name
engraved and a certificate stating the date of cremation .
If desired, pet owners may bring there deceased pet directly to us for
cremation and even, by appointment, wait for the cremation to take place
.This action can help enormously with the grieving process as owners
feel they are ‘seeing their beloved pet through to the end’
PENWITH PET CREMATORIUM can provide an ‘ASHES BACK SERVICE’ and a founder member of the ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE PET CEMETERIES AND CREMATORIA who all operate under a strict code of conduct .
We have for the last 22 years given a sympathetic and honest service
to many, many people. We are intently proud of what we do to make the
saddest time more bearable.
